Capt. Lauren Kimpton
I attended Arkansas Tech University as a Hospitality major with an emphasis in Culinary Arts. I worked as a chef and restaurant manager for most of my adult life until disability made it impossible to do so. Currently, I partake in all things nerdy. Video games, MMORPGs, D&D, and tabletop gaming being prominent.
I was introduced to Star Trek in the early 1990s when I was 11 or so. My parents were avid viewers of Captain Picard’s Enterprise. With the introduction of Netflix into mainstream media, I have had the opportunity to expand my Trek horizons and enjoy all the franchise has to offer. I was introduced to the Fleet at the 2013 Comic Con-way when I met some members of the USS Catalyst. I knew immediately that I had to be a part of this.
Lt. Michelle Reese
Chief Medical Officer
In college I decided to major in the medical field; ended up just getting my Medical Assisting degree from Waterson College. I am CPR and first aid certified, but currently not working due to back injuries. I first starting watching Star Trek when I was young with my grandfather, then went on to watch them alone. The first time I watched Star Trek I wanted to be just like Bones. My favorite Star Trek is Deep Space Nine. I found out about Fleet 31 through Lauren Kimpton. I read up on and decided it was something that I would be interested in, and I’m glad to be a member.
Lt. Melanie Horn
I have attended Arkansas Tech University and majored in English Education with a minor is Psychology, though I have not graduated as of yet due to some setbacks. Currently I am disabled, and I do a lot of crochet; I make just about anything out of yarn you could want. My first introduction to Star Trek was from my mom. She had a major crush on Captain Picard. My introduction to Fleet 31 was from my wife, Lauren Kimpton.
