Fleet 31 was first established in 2009 as the USS Brazen, based in Dallas, TX, but we grew so quickly that by the end of the year, we had half a dozen ships over several states within a year. Our vision was simple: to create a quality Star Trek community where membership was completely free.

As time went on, we refined our vision and approach to try to make things more fun, but with social media limitations, our success also made it harder to stay organized. At multiple points we had major revamps to accommodate the needs of the many, and not always to the satisfaction of the few.

That’s why, as of 2023, our original founder, Cam Wilkinson, has returned to the center seat with a new vision and even more ambitious plans for our community.

Fleet 31’s new comms hub is IDIC Social, our new social media platform celebrating the Vulcan philosophy of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combination. It was built just for us, and as always, with no dues and no ads. Fleet31.com will continue to serve as our home for organizational information and functions, such as the Memory Core.
